About the Event
GRAPHIC DESIGN FOR SCIENTISTS
You know your data is strong, but how can your figures show that? For all levels of scientists, understanding graphic design is essential to telling your science story.
Join quantitative developmental biologist Francesca Tuazon, PhD for an interactive workshop to learn how to transform your dense data into clear and convincing figures.
We’ll cover graphic design basics and how to apply them to the common challenges and pitfalls of visualizing data, making figures, and creating posters.
To get the most out our time together, bring a design problem that you’re struggling with! This could be data that is challenging to visualize, a figure that consistently sparks confusion, or an ensemble of figure panels that you just can’t quite fit together.
